Singer and composer M G Sreekumar is turning producer, with the film titled Ardhanaari. The film, which has Manoj K Jayan playing the lead role, is being directed by Santhosh Sauparnika. The cast includes Thilakan, Sai Kumar, Mythili, Sukumari and Suraj Venjarammoodu. The cinematographer is Hemachandran and the music director is M G Sreekumar.
The pooja ceremony of the film was attended by the Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy, state minister V S Sivakumar, director T S Suresh Babu, producer Suresh Kumar and M G Sreekumar.
