Director Shafi’s new film, 101 Weddings, has started at Kulamavu in Idukki. The film has Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya and Biju Menon playing the lead. Kalavoor Ravikumar has written the screenplay and dialogues based on Shafi’s story. Samvrutha Sunil and Bhama are the heroines. Azhagappan cranks the camera. The music is by Deepak Dev.
The film is about a group wedding and certain humorous situations happening there. Kunchacko Boban does every fraud in the book, Jayasurya is an effeminate dance teacher and Biju Menon is a local goonda.
