Dir: Dr.Biju
Cast: Indrajith, Prithviraj, Nedumudi Venu, Amala Paul
An old man (Nedumudi Venu), his confidant (Anoop Chandran), a young girl (Amala Paul) and a ten-year-old boy (Master Govardhan) are living in a house in a picturesque island. A burglar (Indrajith) is trapped there and the film narrates how he gets reformed by the good nature of the people living there.
Heavily inspired by Kum Ki Duk’s South Korean movies and Iranian films, art house filmmaker Dr. Biju creates a mood as if in those films. The visuals and the music give that feeling as well. But the lack of storyline affects it all. With nothing much to say, he fails in transforming this visual spectacle into an interesting watch.
With some sleepy performances (Prithviraj is there just for namesake) and boring sequences, the film ends up as a tedious misadventure.
