Luck has favoured Nivin Pauly, finally. The techie turned actor made his debut in films with a role as the leader of a five-member gang in Malrvady Arts Club. He played full-length roles in The Metro and Sevenes, which were duds at the box office. The brief appearance in Traffic, Spanish Masala and in the music video titled Yuvhh were noted.
Now he has become quite a sensation with the super success of Thattathin Marayathu. He is currently shooting for Sathyan Anthikkad’s film. The grapevine has it that though the film was originally described as a story highlighting the relationship of an old man and a young girl, whom he treats as his own daughter, has now been shaped giving more importance to Nivin’s character.
Nivin was all set to be part of Aashiq Abu’s Da Thadiya but with his new found star status, it needs to be seen if he will do a role which is not focused on his character.
