Actor Piaa Bajpai, who hails from Etawah in UP but made her entry into films through the Tamil film industry with such notable projects like Poi Solla Porom, Aegan, Goa and Ko, is playing the heroine in director Johnny Antony’s Masters releasing this weekend.
Masters has Prithviraj, Sasikumar, Ananya, Biju Menon and Salim Kumar playing the lead, besides Piaa. The film has been scripted by debutant Jinu Abraham.
According to Piaa, a hugely successful model before she joined movies, her character is that of a ‘serious girl’ named Daksha. “She is in struggle with herself and talks less, which is quite unlike me. I would say that the character in Ko was almost like my real nature,” says the beauty.
She is also acting in a Hindi film but the details have not been publicized yet. For now, she is eagerly waiting for the success of Masters.
