Director Diphan had given Prithviraj a big hit, Puthiya Mugham, which catapulted the young hero into the ‘superstar’ league. Now the two are coming together again in Hero, the shooting of which is currently going on in Kochi. It’s in a cinema within cinema format at times, as Prithviraj plays a stunt artiste or a dupe, in common lingo. Yami Gautam, a model and actor, plays Prithviraj’s heroine in the film. Bala, Srikanth, Nedumudi Venu and Rajeev Pillai include the cast.
Hero is being produced by Seven Arts International and the cinematographer is Bharani K Dharan. The music director is Gopi Sundar. The scenarist is Vinod Guruvayoor.
