The story is taking place in a village called Chembattunadu, where two families were at loggerheads for several years. They brought in goons from neighbouring places and soon after, the Chattambis started gaining control there. Mammootty’s character is called Vijendra Mallaya, who speaks Malayalam, with a heavy Kannada accent. Vinu Mohan plays his brother in the film. Lakshmi Rai and Maithily are the heroines.
