Mammootty and Lal are non-identical twins in Cobra. Cobra is the abbreviation for 'Kuala Lumpur Brothers', where the brothers were born. After they found the name Cobra interesting, they started associating with everything that would add to their name. They preferred place like Kottayam, Kozhikode or Kovai, where the name started with Ko. Their efforts are to marry two sisters, Annie and Sherly (played by Kaniha and Padmapriya) to become 'co-brothers'.
